1. The short version
Listing through the self-service plan and requesting an offer are free. Home Posted does not charge a percentage commission. We may charge for an optional Full-Service Verified listing plan and, after legal approval, a disclosed flat transaction coordination fee on eligible sales that close.
2. Who pays us
The $1,999 Full-Service Verified listing plan is paid by the seller at checkout. A transaction coordination fee, if legally enabled and disclosed in writing, is seller-paid from closing proceeds as a separate line on the closing statement. No such fee is currently charged.
3. How this affects what you see
Properties may be shown to qualified independent buyers based on geography, property type, price range, and stated purchase criteria. Sponsored placements or paid promotions are labeled. Buyer payment does not change the clerical transaction coordination fee owed by a seller under a separate written agreement.
On comparison pages (for example “Home Posted vs Opendoor”) we do our best to present accurate information about competitors we have no financial relationship with. Where we link to a third-party product or service through an affiliate or referral link, that link is labeled as such on the page where it appears.
4. What we are not
Home Posted is not a real estate broker or agent, a mortgage lender, a mortgage broker, a mortgage loan originator, an investment adviser, title company, or insurance carrier. We do not negotiate price or contract terms, interpret contracts, provide legal or financial advice, underwrite credit, or hold escrow funds. Independent buyers issue offers. A licensed title company or closing attorney holds deposits and closing funds, performs title work, prepares or handles approved closing documents, records the deed, and pays out funds.
5. No guarantees
Calculators, estimates, and any “example offer” figures on Home Posted are informational only and are not a binding offer. We do not guarantee that any partner will make an offer, that an offer will be at any particular price, or that a deal will close. Always read the written purchase agreement carefully and consider consulting an independent attorney or real-estate professional.
6. Editorial independence
Articles, guides, and rankings published on Home Posted are written by our editorial team and are not paid placements. Buyer partners do not see articles or rankings before publication and cannot pay to be featured. We may update content to correct errors or reflect new information without notice.
